Blog or don't blog

"Blog or don't blog. Don't blog about not blogging."

I think I read that or something similar to that recently, on a blog.

And it's probably true.

So. What's new?

I'm pretty sure I forgot to mention that Kevin amazingly found my lost earring. He found it in the bathroom under the front of the dryer. Of course he did. He's amazing like that. And I totally cried a little when I got it back. So happy.

I ran five miles yesterday. So that's something. That's farther than I ever ran in either of my other two serious attempts at being a runner. It just proves to me again that I continue to set arbitrary limits on myself. "I can't run more than four miles. I just got to four miles, so I know I can't do MORE than that." Well, actually I can. Kaboom.

I have a 10K (6.2 miles) on my calendar for April 23. I put it down as a lark, but now it seems totally doable. Can you imagine? And now I see it's a benefit for Youth Horizons, which (even though I'm not churchy like them) does some AMAZING work. And now I looked at the race results from last year. Uhhhh...the last place person on the 10K had a pace of 12:55/mile. So it looks like I'm going to end up on the last page of the race results again. Whatever.

What else...

Work seems to vacillate between awesome and awkward. The awesome FAR out weighs the awkward, so everything is fine. It's just that today was particularly weird, so I'm feeling a bit bugged out right now.

Nothing else is really happening, so I suppose that's why I haven't been blogging. My photo blog was entertaining for awhile, but I have missed a couple of days to be sure. I think I'll stay with it and see how it goes. Maybe just not posting every single day. Who knows.

I'm going to be 36 in eight days. Good thing that's not old.

All right. That's enough.
