Add it to the list

I'm officially over Diet Coke.

There's been a lot of talk in my family lately about the news story that reported Diet Coke having a slowing effect on metabolism.

I don't remember this story. Maybe I blocked it out.

After seeing King Corn a few years ago, I'm surprised I was even still drinking it.



But I was. Not a ton, but definitely some every week. And definitely some in each of my Sailor Jerry and Diet Cokes on the weekend.

This decision might also have something to do with the fact that even though I've ran about a billion miles since last spring, I've lost no weight.

I wasn't really getting into it to lose weight, but I am surprised it didn't happen.

At least some. Something.

So that's that and now I'm looking for a new cocktail.

Also.

I've become completely bored with this blog as of late and I know it shows. My apologies. Not sure if the enthusiasm will return, but I wanted you to know that I know how lame I've been.

So very lame.

  1. I've always been anti-diet soda, so good for you. As for the blog lameness, I think it's going around. Kind of like a virus. I'm pretty sure I've come down with it.
