Mother's Day

I'm not even going to begin to try to post a summation of what Mother's Day means to me.

The relationship I've had with my mother and the experience I've had as a mother have consumed and directed most of my life, in more than a typical way.

But today is good on both fronts, and I'm very content with that.

And also, my mom used to cheat at Candyland by stacking the deck against herself. It was a win-win. The game didn't go on for days and she didn't have to deal with a sore loser. (Was I a sore loser?)



I love a good scandal.
