I did buy our Farm Aid tickets. We're going to be in the 5th row. Kaboom! And yes, I know it's going to be one million degrees in August. But believe me when I say I DO NOT CARE BECAUSE IT'S GOING TO BE AWESOME.
Brent graduated from high school! Much, much more on that.
Remember that super cool conference I got to go to last year in Ft. Worth? I get to go again this summer and it's in Pittsburgh, Pa., this year. I'm thrilled because it is FULL of good ideas. FULL.
Also, my job is RAD for other reasons I'm not ready to discuss.
My friend Natalie and I are GENIUSES. You know how you have lunch with someone and then always say at the end of the lunch that you should really do it more often but then you never do? We solved it. More on work, I'm going to Atlanta on June 22, just for the day, with our general manager to meet with NPR folks about their big new digital services push. Badass.
Our summer vacation is going to be an enormous road trip to visit my mother is New Mexico. The kids all happily decided it would be a good idea to return. I can't wait to put my toes in White Sands again.
On Sunday, Kevin and I are going to make a quick trip up to Kansas City to see the David Mayfield Parade do a little outdoor concert in a park. We just love those crazy kids.
