Reasons I should commit to the half marathon:
1. I'm ready to turn up the volume on my running again.
2. I've been running nearly a year and I'd like to see more visible changes.
3. Training for something new is interesting and fun.
4. I like the camaraderie.
5. Accomplishing a running goal makes me feel like a badass.
Reasons I shouldn't commit to the half marathon:
1. I'm scared.
Just think of how exhilarating it will be when you make that first hill, wind in your hair, feeling like a kid, still a bit scared, but more glad about the fact you didn't jump the fence.
