Not sure if I'll be back

Whatever I used to get out of this blog, I no longer do.

I don't want to talk about my life, frustrations, successes, failures, love, music, trips, kids, and on and on.

That's not true. I do want to talk about all of those things. But I only want to talk about those things with people, my friends, my family, in person. I want connection, reciprocity.

And some of you are those people. So for you, nothing will really change.

You can still look forward to my rambling texts, emails, phone calls, Tweets and whatever other tools I can find to harass you.

And if you're not one of those people, why aren't you?

Last update until who knows when:

My new long-distance running record is nine miles! Whew. That isn't easy. Next Saturday is 10, so that's something.

We're headed to Farm Aid this weekend where we will be in the FIFTH row. Only FIVE rows will be between me and Dave Matthews.

I've been given a new role at work. It's exciting. I want to do it really well. Unfortunately, it's going to be uncomfortable for a little while. I wish that wasn't the case and I'm not exactly sure what I can do to make it better.

Remember the peacock? We have another bird now and it's awesome.

Spotify is my new favorite thing on the intertwines.

Our other upcoming concerts are Rosanne Cash, Wynton Marsalis and Chris Isaak.

My new favorite show is Raising Hope.

What else? Not sure.

But you know where to find me.
